Jewellery Made for Connection
Hugged by Nature Jewellery is carefully and lovingly made by hand from my home studio in Hampshire, using simple tools, recycled silver (in the form of the alchemy that is silver clay) and/or sea-glass and individual elements from nature that I have foraged or found.
Each piece is infused with a little touch a touch of the ‘wild’ of nature, a bit of natural history and maybe too the special memories, people and places that bring a little spark of joy - connecting you with something deeper.

As a lover of the natural world I am very conscious about the footprint I leave with my craft and so I strive to ensure that every step of my process is kind to nature and sustainable - from the things that I collect, forage and find through to the materials & tools that I use for hand-making and packaging my pieces.

Hi, I’m Nicole !
I started making nature and sea-glass jewellery a few years ago when I decided it was time to stop procrastinating (like a true perfectionist!) and to finally start using the collection of sea-glass I’d accumulated over many years, and to pluck up the courage to actually open a packet of silver clay, and start making something!
Turns out I absolutely LOVE capturing the little details of nature, transforming them into one-of -a kind, delicate solid fine silver jewellery through the magic of silver clay. AND I adore turning beautiful, often small, pieces of tumbled and frosted sea-glass that I have gathered, into simple, wearable treasures.
Pure JOY - especially because it gives me even more reasons to have to be out and about in my happy place with Mother Nature!
(and a complete change from a life of corporate HR stuff!!).

Find delicate leaves created by painting layers of silver clay paste onto a real leaf, amazingly detailed imprints of real wild flowers, leaves and herbs, moulded replicas of original seeds and plants and hand constructed blossom/flowers.
